Domaine Rotier new vintage

The new 2012 vintage of Domaine Rotier's "late picking" cuvée is another stunner, complex and elegant as always.

This pure l'en de l'el, between gold and amber in colour, releases deep and intense scents of ripe fruits, or even jams (rhubarb, fig, loquat, pineapple). Rich and intense, the wine fills the palate of toasty notes, complimented with confit citrus fruit flavours with hints of well integrated oak. A rare elegance.

This sweet, honeyed wine has a rich, unctuous character. It is perfumed, full of sweet orange marmalade and spice. The acidity keeps it together and gives final freshness. This is a wine to drink by itself rather than with food.
